This is how we roll

Had to blog about the most recent episode of Carpoolers in the context of how we roll. While not a day to day member of carpool or given my state of residence, a truckpool. I am tied to this one in NJ/Pennsylvania. I have to believe every carpool has it specific characteristics, or rules of interactions or as the show put it, "how we roll". I think the carpool that this blog is associated with does this very well and all parties track this. It reminds me of the post earlier on how similar the show it to real life in the carpool. I am wondering if this definition extends beyond the carpool. It does make me wonder if maintaining better scope definitions of my interactions with other people would lead to a more defined and thus rewarding life. Comments?

  1. The real-life Carpool Club(+) actually has much better-defined rules than the TV counterpart. That said, I agree with your implication that we all stand to improve collectively and individually by clarifying the "scope definitions of [our] interactions with other people". However, I struggle to conceptualize a dynamic in which this could work better than the robust haven into which the Carpool evolved.

  2. Brian/Carpool, why limit (y)ourselves to "scope...of...interactions with... people"?

  3. I believe the real life carpool has a better defined scope than the show. I'm envious

  4. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's carpool, esp. since you're part of it

  5. Don't think there's any coveting about it. Simply wishing to internalize more of the characteristics of the carpool in daily life.

  6. How better to internalize than to blog?
